Hockey Competition 29th March

On Wednesday 29th March 2017, a team of children took part in the In2hockey festival at Tilsley Park which is a 7 side game which must be mixed with at least 3 girls and 3 boys on the pitch at any time.
The children have been attending hockey club after school for 2 terms and have learnt lots of new skills and this really showed in their game play at the tournament.
The teams attending were split into 2 leagues with 5 matches being played in each league.
Our team: Ava, Isabelle, Emily, Rubie-Brook, Kyran, Henry, Tom, Oliver, Bertie and Ethan showed great determination and team work during the morning. In the five matches they played they won 2, lost 2 and drew 1 match. They unfortunately didn’t make the play offs. However they did get to play a friendly match against Shrivenham with all 10 players on the pitch which all the children had great fun playing!

Well done to everyone who took part.
